In a public safety agency, firefighters put out fires using various firefighting techniques, equipment, and tools to prevent further damage and minimize risk to life and property. They respond to emergency calls, including fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters. They also perform search and rescue operations to locate and extract individuals trapped or injured in hazardous situations, such as building collapses or vehicle accidents.
